Yixing clay cannot be used on gas or electric burners like infrared or induction plates. - If you want to be safe, please use this Zisha Tea Kettle on alcohol only (boiling water in another kettle and then using this one to brew). You will need to be careful that the flame is not too strong as this could cause the Zisha Tea Kettle to crack.
- You can also use this Zisha Tea Kettle on charcoal, and it is unlikely to crack, but we cannot guarantee that. We use charcoal with ours, but again try to make a smaller arrangement designed not to boil the water, but rather to keep it warm. Each kettle will also come with a zisha ring that you can put on a brazier so the Tea Kettle rests on zisha instead of a different material.

"Seven Cups of Tea"
One cup to calm the mind,
Two cups to ease the breath,
Three cups to warm the heart,
Four cups to heal the soul.
Five cups to see the light,
Six cups to find one's way,
Seven cups to reach the end,
A journey through life in one day.
These cups of tea, a gift of grace,
A moment to slow down and think.
To savor the moment, the present place,
And let all worries and troubles sink.
For in the simple act of sipping tea,
We can find peace, love, and joy.
And in the presence of those dear to thee,
We can find solace, hope, and faith to employ.
So take the time to drink your tea,
And let it fill you with its grace.
May it bring you joy, serenity,
And a gentle embrace.
