- Historic Jun Kiln The Jun Kiln of the Song Dynasty was one of the five great kilns (五大名窑), along with the Ru Kiln (汝窑), Guan Kiln (官窑), Ding Kiln (定窑), and Ge Kiln (哥窑). Jun Kiln was particularly well-known for its unique multi-colored blue glazes with hints of purple, and for the fine forms of its ceramics. Jun-style porcelain was originally created in the Song Huizong period of the Song Dynasty in China (1082) and was produced in Yuzhou City, Henan Province. Over the years, more modern teaware has continued to be made in the style of pieces from the original Jun Kiln.
