What is raw sand Zhuni?
The refining process of Zhuni, if there is raw sand, there must be cooked sand. The so-called cooked sand is to grind Zhuni ore into powder, mix the slurry, and make it into a "slurry cake". After drying, put it into the kiln at a low temperature of 800℃ for biscuit firing. After burning, it is ground into sand. The calcined Zhuni is free of iron and impurities.
Raw sand cinnabar is the core of selecting cinnabar mud ore. It is hard and sandy in texture. After selection, the powder is directly sieved without slurry mixing or calcination. - The difference between raw sand Zhuni and cooked sand Zhuni finished products:
Shrinkage lines: cooked sand has shrinkage lines; raw sand has no shrinkage lines.
Particles: cooked sand has a strong mortar feel and less impurities of iron; raw sand has a strong sand feel and the pot body has iron and white spots.
Air permeability: Cooked sand has high crystallinity, poor air permeability, and a good fragrance-gathering effect; raw sand has good air permeability. Raw sand has good air permeability. It is very suitable for people who are not picky about tea, whether it is raw Pu'er, cooked Pu'er, black tea, green tea, or old white tea. - The spout of the pot is specially made with a little arc to improve the water-breaking effect.
